专家简介：Chaoyun Li received the PhD degree in electrical engineer from imec-COSIC, Department of Electrical Engineering (ESAT), KU Leuven, Belgium in February 2020. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at imec-COSIC, KU Leuven. From October 2020 to 2023, he will be funded by an FWO postdoc fellowship. His research interests include cryptography and coding theory.

报告摘要：This talk will present some results of statistical fault attacks. First, We give a brief introduction to fault attacks and some practical issues. Then, as a case study, we will present ciphertext-only fault attacks on the lightweight block cipher LED. Our new attack can not only improve the attacking efficiency, but also decrease the number of faults. It provides vital reference for security analysis of other lightweight ciphers in the Internet of Things.
