专家简介:任苗苗,副教授，硕士生导师。2015年7月在西北大学获理学博士学位，毕业后留校任教至今。现任美国数学会《数学评论》特约评论员，担任《Semigroup Forum》,《Publicationes Mathematicae Debrecen》《数学进展》等国内外杂志的匿名审稿人。研究方向为代数学和Tropical几何学。

报告摘要：In this talk we shall introduce the development of the Burnside problem, the finite basis problem and the finite generation problem for ai-semiring varieties in the last fourty years, and try to reveal the relation between these problems and the corresponding semigroup varieties and group varieties.
