专家简介：喻革新，美国威廉玛丽学院教授。2006年毕业于伊利诺大学香槟分校（UIUC），获得博士学位。2006-2008年在范德比尔特大学（Vanderbilt）做博士后研究。主要研究方向为图论及其应用。主持完成美国NSF和NSA基金项目多项。在图染色、图链接、图嵌入等方向发表学术论文近70篇。

报告摘要：DP-coloring (also known as correspondence coloring) is a generalization of list coloring introduced by Dvorak and Postle in 2017. Since then, it has been a very active research area. It is well-known that some powerful techniques in graph coloring (for example, vertex identification) are not feasible in list coloring. DP-coloring, however, can overcome this barrier in some situations. Because of this, the introduction of DP-coloring raises hope of solving some long standing list coloring problem. In this talk, we will introduce this coloring and talk about some results on it especially results on planar graphs.
