From November 23rd to 25th, the 2018 partial differential equations and related topics organized by the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics, Hubei University and the Hubei Key Laboratory of Applied Mathematics were held in our school.

From Nanjing University, South China University of Technology, Sun Yat-sen University, Wuhan University, Xiamen University, Beijing Normal University, Fudan University, Sichuan University, Northwestern University, University of Science and Technology of China,Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences，Wuhan Institute of Physics and Mathematics, Chinese Academy of Sciencessuch as more than 60 experts and scholars to participate in the discussion.

Yong Hou, deputy secretary of the party committee of the university, welcomed the arrival of experts and scholars on behalf of the university at the opening ceremony. He said that the seminar has promoted academic exchanges between the university and the outside world and will certainly promote the research work in the field of partial differential equations of the university.

Professor Hua Chen, member of the discipline mathematics evaluation group of the state council, chairman of Hubei province and Wuhan Mathematics Society, and director of Wuhan University collaborative innovation center for mathematics, delivered a speech. He hoped that the scholars present at the meeting would have extensive exchanges and generate sparks of ideas.

During the conference, 15 well-known scholars, including researcher Hailiang Li from Capital Normal University and researcher Jing Li from the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, made wonderful reports, introduced their research work and issues of interest in depth, and exchanged their research results.
