On 13th September 2018, Professor Julian Scheuer Professor ChaoXia , Professor Peng Wu , Professor Hongbing Qiu and Professor Guanghan Li were invited to visit our faculty and give talks to faculty members and graduate students working in related research fields.

In Room 201, Professor Julian Scheuer gave the talk “Harnack inequalities for evolving hypersurfaces”, which mainly introduces a new method to get the Harnack inequality under a given curvature flow, like the mean curvature flow, general fully nonlinear curvature flows, and so on. Professor Chao Xia gave the talk “A partial overdetermined problem in a half ball”, which is mainly about the Serrin-type overdetermined problem with mixed boundary conditions in the half ball. Professor Peng Wu gave the talk “Gradient shrinking Ricci solitons of half harmonicWeyl curvature”, which mainly discusses the classification of gradient Ricci solitons with the half harmonic Weyl curvature. Professor Hongbing Qiu gave the talk “Some rigidity theorems of spacelike self-shrinkers in pseudo-Euclidean spaces”, in which several rigidity results for space-like self-shrinkers have been shown under different assumptions. Professor Guanghan Li gave the talk “Evolution of complete noncompact graphs by powers of curvature function”, and the listeners benefited a lot from this talk.
